The CE mark is the only mark of conformity in the territory of the European Union.
By placing CE on its products, the manufacturer makes it clear that the products comply with the requirements of the European Union standards and are safe.
The CE marking is affixed to the product or to the technical data sticker.
The mark must be legible and resistant to erasure. If for some reason it is impossible or unjustified to apply the CE mark on the product itself, the mark is applied to the packaging and accompanying documentation, if the current legislation provides for these documents. The CE marking must accompany the identification number of the notified body if the notified body is involved in the production control phase or if it is determined by one of the certification modules. The CE marking is applied before the product is exported. This symbol may be accompanied by a pictogram or any other symbol indicating a hazard or a specific use.
