- Example: Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro (SM-R190NZKASEK) is a Bluetooth TWS earphone model that a separate certificate is taken, Samsung headphones do not have a model range as such, each headphone model undergoes personal certification, while the company OPPO certifies its TWS devices with the Oppo Enco Free, Oppo Enco W11, Oppo Enco W31, Oppo Enco W51 lineups.
Thus, when forming the cost of certification, OPPO certification will be more expensive than Samsung, due to the number of devices included in one certificate. This is due to the fact that all devices in the OPPO lineup will go through the module matching protocol for identity.
The presence of a charger in the package.
- Example: A smartphone from Apple, such as the iPhone 12, comes without a charger, while most other manufacturers, such as Samsung and its S20 model, come with an AC adapter.
Thus, with the same number of radio technologies (radio modules) when forming the cost of certification, Samsung S20 certification will be more expensive than Apple iPhone 12.
Important! Even if the product is not supplied with a charger, in order to pass the procedure for assessing compliance with the Technical Regulations and checking the product for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), the customer must additionally submit a network or car adapter recommended for this device of good quality. In this case, the charger will not be tested and will be included in the Type Examination Certificate.
Availability of accessories incorporating radio technology.
- Example: Certification of a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth TV that comes with a Bluetooth remote control will cost more than certification of a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth TV that comes with a standard IR remote emitter.
If during testing (certification) the device, its components or an integral part of the delivery set does not meet the requirements of the Technical Regulations, the customer undertakes to provide a sample of good quality for testing for re-testing, which in some cases may increase the total cost certification
- Example: take a smartphone complete with a charger. When passing tests, it turns out that the charger has a factory defect, the smartphone is charging, however, the charger exceeds the standards established by law and does not comply Technical regulation of low-voltage electrical equipment dated December 16, 2015 No. 1067 and therefore a smartphone with this power supply cannot pass technical regulation on electromagnetic compatibility of equipment No. 1077 of December 16, 2015.
It is possible to correct this situation by providing a serviceable (not defective) power supply, while it will be necessary to additionally pay for re-testing with new equipment, in this case, these additional tests will affect the increase in the cost of certification.

The work of the certification body (hereinafter referred to as the WCB) (the work of the engineering department, the accounting department of the contract department, etc.)
This is the amount with which everything starts, it varies from year to year, is regulated by the internal orders of the certification body and is approximately 10,000 UAH.
