The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decided to amend some legislative acts of Ukraine, including of the Law of Ukraine "On Consumer Protection" (hereinafter - the Law), namely, Article 19 of the Law.
So, in Part 2 of Article 19, the list of information, the failure to provide or the provision of false or incomplete is considered to be misleading the consumer, is expanded. Part 3 of Article 19, Clauses 9-16 and the amendments to Clause 4, are supplemented with a list of entrepreneurial practice, which is misleading.
Amendments have also been made to the concept of "misleading business practice"
Unlawful use of the business reputation of a business entity is recognized as: unlawful use of someone else's distinguishing marks, advertising materials, packing; unlawful use of goods made by other manufacturers; copying goods' outward appearance; comparative advertising if such advertising violates the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine on advertising , on protection against unfair competition or such advertising can be qualified as dishonest business practice

This Law brought a lot of changes to the system of legislative acts and added clarifications to some points.
