A certification agreement in Ukraine is a legal document that specifies the terms of responsibility of the certification body and the customer.

This is a kind of set of rules on how and to what extent you can use the Certificate of Conformity ( Type examination certificate or Declaration of Conformity) to comply with the adopted legislative acts on the territory of Ukraine.

The certification agreement is drawn up in accordance with the requirements of clause 4.1.2 of DSTU EN ISO/IEC 17065:2014 to ensure that the conditions for obtaining and maintaining the Type Examination Certificate are met.

In this article, we will highlight several important points:

The customer undertakes:

Ensure that the declared products (devices) comply with the requirements of the Technical Regulations for Radio Equipment (hereinafter referred to as TR R) during the entire period of their circulation on the territory of Ukraine.

Coordinate in advance with the Conformity Assessment Body changes in the design (composition) of products, manufacturing technology, test and control methods, acceptance rules that may affect product performance confirmed during conformity assessment.

Inform UKRCHASTOTNADZOR of all modifications of the product that may affect the compliance of the radio equipment with the essential requirements of the Technical Regulations or the conditions for the validity of the specified certificate. Such modifications require additional type examination of the radio equipment and its approval in the form of a supplement to the original type-examination certificate.

UKRCHASTOTNADZOR, according to the certification agreement, undertakes:

Undertakes to inform the CUSTOMER by registered mail (or other similar means) in case of changes in the regulatory documents that establish requirements for products, conformity assessment procedures, rules for labeling and putting it into circulation, etc.

The Conformity Assessment Body has the right, in case of failure by the Customer to comply with the terms of this agreement, to suspend or cancel the Certificate and submit information about this to other designated Conformity Assessment Body and regulatory authorities.

Signing the Certification Agreement is a mandatory procedure upon receipt of Certificate of Conformity (Type Examination Certificate)
