CE certification is a process that includes passing tests of a product sample in order to determine its compliance with European standards (CE Standard) and Directives (CE Directive), followed by the issuance and receipt of test reports (Test reports) , as well as the issuance of the CE certificate itself with additions for the type of product being tested based on the received test reports.
CE certification is a confirmation of the quality of products distributed within the European Union.
Note! For some types of products, such as electronics or bed linen, additional certification (tests) is required. For electronics it's RoHS , and for bedding it's REACH . RoHS in Europe is mandatory for all electronic components and electronics from 2021. Testing and issuing REACH, RoHS certificates is carried out by a separate certification body, different from the body that deals with CE certification. REACH and RoHS certification are not included in the CE certification!
