Technical regulations conformity mark

The mark of conformity with technical regulations is a marking by which the manufacturer indicates that the product complies with the applicable requirements defined in technical regulations that provide for the application of this marking.

The main technical regulations for digital radio electronics are:

1. Technical regulation of radio equipment dated May 24, 2017 №355
2. Technical regulation of low-voltage electrical equipment of December 16, 2015 No. 1067

According to Article 30 of the Law of Ukraine "On Technical Regulations and Conformity Assessment" we want to highlight the following:

Article 30. General principles of marking with a mark of conformity to technical regulations

1. The mark of compliance with technical regulations must be applied only by the manufacturer or his authorized representative.

2. The mark of conformity with technical regulations should only be applied to products for which its application is provided for by specific technical regulations, and should not be applied to any other product.

3. By applying the mark of conformity to technical regulations by himself or his authorized representative, the manufacturer indicates that he assumes responsibility for the conformity of the products with all applicable requirements defined in the relevant technical regulations, which provide for the application of the mark of conformity to technical regulations.

4. The mark of compliance with technical regulations should be the only marking that certifies the conformity of products with the applicable requirements defined in the relevant technical regulations, which provide for the application of the mark of compliance with technical regulations.

5. Application of other markings, signs or inscriptions on products that may mislead third parties regarding the meaning or form of the mark of compliance with technical regulations is prohibited. Any other marking may be applied to the product, provided that this does not adversely affect the visibility, legibility and meaning of the mark of conformity with technical regulations.

The form of the mark of conformity is not arbitrary and is regulated by the law of Ukraine.

The conformity mark is accompanied by the identification number of the designated conformity assessment body, if such body was involved at the production control stage, in the format UA.TR.YYY or YYY, where:
