The conformity assessment procedure is divided into several modules. The manufacturer or importer is given a choice based on its capabilities and scope of activity which module to apply to carry out the conformity assessment. Each module has its own list of documents and procedure.

These Rules establish a mechanism for determining the cost of work on conformity assessment with the requirements of technical regulations

This Law governs the relations between consumers of goods, works and services and producers and sellers of goods, contractors and providers of services of different patterns of ownership, establishes the rights of consumers, and also determines the mechanism of their protection and basis of realization of state policy in the field of consumer protection.
